Cloud study

Constable & William Turner (National Gallery London)

In the first two Turner paintings I like how the light is seen through the misty clouds up in the sky as the sun sets.  To me this creates a much more realistic feeling of depth.

In the Constable painting I like how the clouds look so bold a create a heavy impression over the landscape of the rest of the painting
