Pen over colour drawing
I wanted to give my drawing a more graphic effect and give more detail. I used cross-hatching to create tone.

Shoreditch colour pencil sketch
As I was drawing the view, I decided I wanted to include the overground trains that passed over the bridge opposite from my drawing point because of the bright orange colour. I decided to take a methodical aproch to drawing the train. A train would pass roughly every 4 mins, and as one would pass I would add a little bit more of the detail for the couple of seconds as it passed by. After about 20 mins of drawing I had 5 chances to draw the train with enough colour and detail and I was done.
Creating new drawings from previous works
I decided to use two drawing I had made of Trafalgar Square and use tracing paper to make a new lager composition.

Architecture-The National Gallery
During my drawing class at the National Gallery we were set the tast to include the amazing architecture of the gallery in our drawings.
This at first seemed an easy task, but when I try to draw the curved dome ceiling I found It very difficult to get the scale correct.
I felt drawing the ceiling became a very mathematical task to get the correct amount of windows, arched beams and intricate details.
On the third attempt I did seem to finally get the hang of drawing the deceiving dome shape.
